Meet the People Behind NVC in Education
Our network is made up of experienced NVC trainers, educators, and organizers who co-create the Mutual Education Labs and other learning initiatives. They bring a wide range of experience from classrooms, universities, and community projects across the globe.
Marianne Göthlin
Marianne is the content adviser for this website. She works as an NVC trainer and has a life-long engagement in education. She was part of developing the idea of Life-Enriching Education Labs, to further Marshall B. Rosenbergs commitment to education. With years of rich and learningful events this movement has developed to offer Mutual Education Learning Labs.
For me, engaging in education and meeting with “school people” are ways of connecting with hope, with joy, with community and purposeful contribution. I have a background as a teacher, and have integrated NVC in public schools, started a community school based on NVC and been a partner in projects where NVC values and practice build supportive and sustainable development.
Gabriele Grunt
Gabriele works as NVC trainer and is part of the Mutual Education Learning Lab team. With her work she wants to co-create structures that support cooperation, mutual empowerment and inclusion in learning environments. She is passionate about sharing NVC in workshops and projects.
Giacomo Poleschi
Giacomo works as NVC trainer and is part of the Mutual Education Learning Lab trainers team. When he learned about NVC just before the first of his three children was born, he found it to be not only a practical, but al fun way to connect to others and life. He brings joy and meaning to the world by sharing NVC in various contexts and serving delicious food in his restaurant in Tuscany. His calm and playful presence creates space for real connection as well as fun conversations.
Corrylaura van Bladel
Corrylaura Van Bladel is a trainer in Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and founder of Praatkracht, an organisation that brings NVC into many different contexts. As a child, she loved learning but hated school, which sparked a lifelong curiosity about a paradox: shouldn’t school be the place where learning comes alive? Discovering NVC felt like finding the language she had always been searching for—a way to truly connect with children and young people.
Alongside her work in many sectors, education has always held a special place in her heart. She believes deeply that when children grow up learning to understand themselves and each other, we are shaping a more connected and compassionate society.
Manuela Murariu
Manuela Murariu works in Romania as a teacher and certified trainer in Nonviolent Communication. She is one of the founding members of a private school set up by parents and teachers in 2016, where she also works full-time. From the very beginning, NVC has been part of the school community as a tool to support connection, belonging, and learning. The number of students and parents increased rapidly from 19 students in 2016 to 435 students in 2026. Her passion is to constantly find ways in which NVC concepts and processes can improve the well-being and involvement of both students and caretakers within the school community.
My hope is that our children’s children will no longer need to take NVC courses because they will have been practicing speaking and living from their heart, with consideration for others, in their families and in their schools.
Chris Rajendram
Life of education depends on communication or connection to life. It is the presence of this connection that makes education life-serving.
I am Chris Rajendram and I am totally in love with life that is NVC.
Marie Siegling
She works as a facilitator and NVC trainer in the education system. As the organizer of the Mutual Education Learaning Lab 2019 in Germany she not only learned about the challenges people face spreading NVC in education but she also realized how important building a community around this topic really is. With her unique combination of sharpness and compassion she is a driving force for growth and connection.
